Hello!!!! And Crazy Hat Dinner!!!

So it has been a long time since my last post, things have changed a bit. I am working full time at Affordable Dentures for Dr. Adams! He is a great doctor and I absolutely LOVE my job!!! My co-workers are AMAZING!!! We all get along so well and just have a blast at work!! My mom has moved in with us and I love it!! She watches my boys while I am at work! And they adore her! Gaige is really loving the time alone he gets with her. The older two love it as well! And it works out good for me with Sky working out of town that I am not here alone!!! Its great!!

The other night the boys and I needed some fun so we decided to have a crazy hat dinner. We all made our own little hats to wear, and it was so much fun! The boys were so cute and so fun to watch making their hats! They were being so creative and its so fun to see their creative sides come out! We had a great time! I love doing things like this with my kiddos!! We definitely need more times like these!!!

Surgery Update!!!

So surgery went well!!! They got the mass and the cysts all out. And they said no cancer!!!! YAY!!!!!!! So now its recovery time, my Dad and Nancy were here with me for the first 10 or so days, they were amazing!!!! They took great care of me and my boys and helped me de-junk my house!!! I really am so grateful for them and everything they did for me!!! I love you guys like crazy!!! And had so much fun with you here!!! Thank you!!! Now I get to have my Momma here!!! Its her turn to take of me!!!! I am so thankful for her willingness as well to come all the way here to help me out!!! I have such great parents!!! I just love them!!!

Another Big Day!!!

Surgery day is tomorrow!!!I have been deciding on whether or not to blog about it but I guess have decided that I will. I get to go in and have a hysterectomy tomorrow morning. I went to the Dr. for one thing and it turns out they found another. But the good news is, the surgery will solve both issues. I am super nervous and scared!!! But i am very lucky to have family that have been so willing to help me, and drive lots of miles to be here to help me with the boys and recovery!!! I love you all so much!!! So I will be in the hospital til probably Saturday or Sunday but I will blog an update as to how it all went as soon as I can!!!

Graduation is approaching!!!

I am so excited to say that I am almost done with school!!! I graduate next Thursday!!! YAY!!!!!! I can't wait!!! But I am going to miss seeing the friends I have made every week! We have had some fun times!!

Im going back to school!!!!

Today is MY first day of school! I start Dental Assisting school today!!! I am super nervous and scared and excited. I am nervous to go back to doing the school thing after almost 12 years away from it. I am scared that I will have a hard time getting back into the reading and the homework and all the stuff that comes with going to school. And I am excited at the chance to meet new people and learn something new and have fun experiences and gaining a confidence in myself that I havent had in a long time. So let the reading and studying and friendships begin!! Im ready!!!

The first day of school was last Wednesday! Griffin is in the 5th grade and Gavin is 1st grade. I cant believe that Griffin is in 5th grade! He is growing up WAY too fast! They all are! Major will be in Kindergarten next year. But for now he is stuck hangin with mom all day! There are a lot of things to look forward to this year for both Fifi and Gavin. Fifi gets to go on an overnight trip with the 5th graders, he is so super excited for that! Gavin gets to eat lunch in the lunchroom, which he is so so excited about!
I love that I am a stay at home mom and that I can go and help in both of their classes. I love watching them at school and how they learn and interact with the other students and the teacher.

So it has been quite some time since my last post! School has ended, summer has started, summer is coming to an end!!! We have had a kind of crazy summer this year!!! The first week of summer we had me in the emergency room, calling poison control for Griffin, Gaige at the urgent care one day, two days later super gluing Gaiges head shut where he had busted it open, and Gavin fell off his bike busting open his chin!!! Then we have been dealing with Skyler working out of town for the past 6 weeks and continuing to do so for who knows how long!!! And I have started working again! So its been a crazy summer!!!
We have done some fun things, Griffin got to go to Eagar, AZ for the Fourth of July with my mom and Stacey! He had soooo much fun!!! He got to meet cousins he didn't know he had! He got to enjoy the parade, he went to the catwalk in New Mexico, he did a zipline into a lake, slept in tents with the cousins!!! He had a really good time!! I miss Eagar! I havent been there for 12 years! I think its time to go back for a visit so the little two can have some fun as well!!!
We have gone to the zoo, we went to the Dinosaur Museum, which was a bit daring on my part! I took 4 little boys 2 of them 6 years old, 1 of them 4, and the other 3, all by myself!! It was the 10th birthday of the museum so the boys were able to do a lot of fun things!!! All the dinosaur bones had big birthday caps on! It was so dang cute and the boys had a great time!!!
Skyler(when he is home) and I have been hanging out with some new friends, Sara and Jaren!!! We all have such a great time together and they also have 3 boys so they understand the crazy that is my little family!!! We just love them so much!
So we are still alive and I will post some pics another day!!! I hope everyone is having a great summer and getting excited for school to start!!! Love you all

One Proud Mama

I have to take a few minutes and let everyone know just how proud I am of my oldest son Griffin!!! He is such an AMAZING young man!! He earned straight A's on this last report card and not only that but he was also awarded Student of the Month this month!!! I honestly am so proud of my boy!!! He has come so far since the beginning of the school year and he has grown so much!!! I am so proud of the boy he is growing up to be! He is so thoughtful, and loving! He is a very good helper to me when I need it and he is just great!! He is a wonderful older brother and he helps take good care of his siblings! I just love this boy like crazy!!! Like I said in my title... I am One Proud Mama!!! I love you Fifi!!!

11 Years ago today......

11 years ago today Skyler and I got married!!! On Friday April 16,1999. I cant even believe that we have been married for 11 years, it has gone by so fast!!! There are so many things that I love about my husband, I love that he loves me, I love that he treats me like a princess, I love his sense of humor, that he is such a hard worker so I can stay home with my boys. I love that even though we have had our ups and downs, we have worked through them, and have become stronger and closer in our marriage and our friendship than we have ever been!!! I love that he accepts me for me even though it has taken me a while to figure out who I am. I love the dad that he is, and the friend that he is to the boys and myself. He is my love and my best friend. I love you my sweet moose!!! Happy Anniversary!!!!

Well, we made it to Arizona and we have been having a really good time here!!! The sun has been shining and a nice cool breeze has been blowing!!! It has been in the high 70's since we got here!!! Tons better than that darn Utah weather!!! Today is Saturday the 3rd of April and we went to the park for a family picnic and Easter egg hunt for all the kids!!! What a blast!!! The boys are having so much fun with all these cousins! They have hunted eggs, gone swimming, played at the park, shopped, had an air soft gun fight! Its been great. So I thought I would post some pictures of some of the things that we have done. And also this is the first time that all 6 of my siblings and their kids have been together in a few years so we had to take some cute photos of all that too!!! So I hope you enjoy and I will post again from the Lone Star State of Texas here in a few days!!!!

Going on Vacation!!!

So the boys and I are going on a vacation this week. We are going to go to Arizona and spend Easter with the family down there, and then we are going to head to Texas to see where my Mom and Jeff are going to live. Im pretty excited to go and I know the boys are way excited to see their cousins! I just hope the drive goes smooth and the boys behave!!! So the next few posts will be from the warmth of Arizona and then Texas. I am sure Skyler will be having fun without us here!!! He gets a break from all the noise and craziness!!!

Griffin's County Report

Griffin had to do a county report this year in the 4th grade. He decided that he wanted to do his on Tooele County. So we decided to take a trip to Tooele County and see some of its smaller cities. We first stopped in Mercur, which is considered to be a ghost town now, nobody lives there but they do have the Barrick Mercur Mine. Then we drove on to Ophir, this little town is so cute! The population there is 23 people. They have cute old fashion homes and what not. Then our last stop was in Vernon, which we know pretty well, its where we go camping and fishing at the Vernon Resivoir, but also in the cute little town of 328 people is one of the yummiest places I have ever eaten called The Silver Sage Cafe. This place is delicious and the people who work there are too dang nice. We had a really fun time going to all these cities and taking lots of pics. Here are a few of Griffin's AWESOME report, and some of us on our outing!!!

Last week was one of our FAVORITE people's birthday... Miss Ashley turned 17!! And for her birthday her amazing mama bought her a baby ball python. My boys were super excited to go over and see it and hold it. While I on the other hand, not so much. I am not a fan of snakes of any kind. Small, cute, to me... no such thing. So Skyler, Griffin, Gavin, and my little Gaige all held the snake. Even Ashley's little sister Emily held the snake. Well, I didn't, I couldn't bring myself to even touch it, and when any of them got close to me with it I kinda freaked. I was good as long as I was the one behind the camera taking the pictures (thank goodness for zoom!!). Anyway because of my fear of holding or even touching this gross little reptile Ashley called me a wuss, and I have to say I agree... I am a wuss, I think for a while I will stay a wuss. So here are some pics of the non-wusses. I even got one of Ashley kissing the dirty little creature!!!

Saying goodbye to my 20's!!!

Well today is my 30th birthday!!!! And now I can no longer say that I am in my 20's!! I liked the sound of 20's... it sounded so young. Although I do have to say that I did learn a lot in my 20's! I had 3 kids, was married, bought a house, a new car, I learned a lot about myself and who I want to be. I learned the value of forgiveness. I learned that holding grudges does nothing but make you age faster. So no more grudges. I learned that family is really all you have in this life and they are the ones who will always be there for you and love you no matter what. I learned that having 3 sons is a little hard at times but VERY worth it. They are all 3 amazing little boys. I learned that being nice really isnt that hard and that it makes life a lot easier on everyone. I learned stressing over things isnt worth it. If you have faith all will work out the way it is suppose to. So, I have learned a lot in my 20's and I hope to learn even more in my 30's!! Here is to another decade of learning and being happy and just being "ME"!!!!

Oh and in my 20's I got a new grill!!! You like???

My mom is moving soon. Too soon. So I though I would post something about her. Maybe hoping she will see how much she is going to be missed and decide to stay??? (hint hint). So let me first start by saying I think I have the worlds BEST mom!!! She is such an amazing woman! She has helped me through so many things. Especially this past year! She was there for me when I needed a shoulder to cry on, someone to talk to, and the good thing about her was that she undedrstood. She didnt judge me or make me feel bad, she was just there, and told me she loved me. I really hope that when my boys are older I can do the same for them, let them know that they are loved and that no judgement will be passed. She is my best friend, I call her multiple times a day, tell her everything, get advice from her. I am really going to miss being able to just drive 30 minutes to see her. Texas is a long drive from Utah. But I guess it calls for a family vacation sometime. I am going to miss you mom.... so we need to hang out a TON before you go. And dont be mad but I am going to post some pics of us having fun!!! Love you!!!

A couple of days after Christmas we went sledding with Christopher, JD, Zane, Mom , and Stacey. We had so much FUN!!! We even got Mom and Stacey to each go down the hill!! It was such a blast!!! All the boys seemed to have a great time and actually seemed to enjoy eachothers company!!! After sledding we all had worked up an appetite so we went to a family favorite.... The Italian Place!! Yummy food!!! The turkey salad is the BEST!!!! Let me say we took over 400 pictures while we were out so I had to pick and choose which pictures made the cut. Kathena if you want all the pics of Christopher and JD just let me know!!! And same for you Stacey of Zane!!! I am going to try and figure out how to do a slide show so pics will be up soon!!! So Skyler wanted to take the boys and I on a hike last week. I think I can honestly say that in the 11 years we have known eachother, I have never gone on a hike. I prefer the inside sport of SHOPPING!!! Its more my style. Anyway, I thought I should branch out from the norm and decided to go. We hiked up to Lisa Falls, where he and his friends went over 6 years ago and buried a box with stuff inside in memory of his brother Daren and best friend Jason that passed away in 2003. I am a bit on the slow side but I am FINALLY posting about Gavin's first day of kindergarten. He was a bit nervous the first day but now really seeems to like it. So far I havent had any arguing when its time to go. Very nice!!!

Memorial Day Camping Trip

So obviously it has been FOREVER since my last post! But hopefully now that school is out and simmer has come I will be able to put more effort into this thing. So we went camping at the sand dunes for Memorial Day with my family. The boys enjoyed riding the four wheelers and I had some MUCH needed fun!!! All the girls that went had a great time playing with makeup and just being dorks!!! I think I have to say that my niece Raisha and I enjoyed it a bit more than the rest! Have you ever had one of those days when it just seems like you can't get anything done? Like you just have this list of things that need to be done but for some reason the odds are stacked against you and getting it all done seems impossible? Today is one of those days for me! I am trying to get the house in order so when we leave on our trip my mom won't come to a dirty house. Yet every room I clean I have two little whirlwinds following right behind me messing it up again!!! It truely is a vicious cycle!! I am hoping that with nap time approaching, I may get lucky and BOTH of them will fall fast asleep and much can get done! Plus, I think I could use a bit of a break as well!!! I think I am letting my fears of flying take over me and my thoughts so I am stressing out even more than needs be!! Anyway, sorry about the ranting, but I actually feel much better and I am ready to go try again!!! I will let you know how it goes!!! PS baby just walked in with poop all over his hands!!! Love these days!!!

Happy Halloween!!! We started our day with Griffin's parade at school. He dressed up as a hobo for school. I love these pics of him!! He is just too cute!!!

Then we went up to Grandma and Grandpas house to do a trunk or treat!!

Here he changed his mind and said he is Pugsley from the Addams Family.

Gardner Village

We decided to try again with the whole Gardner Village thing. We went a couple of days before this and I had to do a LOT of convincing to get all three of the boys in a collared shirt and hair combed and faces clean, well, I got them in a cute spot , all of them looking at me and smiling, I went to take the picture and the battery was dead! Needless to say, I was FRUSTRATED!!! So, we (I) thought we would try again. The boys look VERY cute! And all three of them are smiling! Griffin, Gaige, and Gavin

This is the look I got when Gavin found out that Gardner Village is more of a girl place, and not so much for boys!!!!!

Griffin is giving me the "Really mom, a pony ride?" look!! But I know deep down he is really having fun!! (Its okay Griff I won't tell your friends!!!)

Now Gaige, he smiles at ANYTHING!!! He really is having fun because he is still too young to realize that Gardner Village IS really more of a place for girls, and pony rides??? Um yeah, does anything beat a pony ride for a 2 year old? All in all we had a lot of fun! The pictures turned out cute and I also learned that I had a spare battery in the camera case the first time we went!!!

POPCORN PARTY!!!!

This day was SO much fun! Skyler took Griffin shooting, and the little ones just aren't quite old enough to go yet, So they were both pretty bummed that they couldn't go with Dad. So we decided that we would have a popcorn party! We got in our jammies, got our blankets, popped our popcorn and watched their FAVORITE movie!!!They both LOVE Billy Wonta (Willy Wonka) as Gaige would put it! The old 1970's version. They want to watch that movie at least 3 times a day! Totally their FAV!!!!

I only had to remind Gaige a few times not to feed the dog popcorn! The dogs are always following Gaige around the house! Or at dinner time they will always park right under him under the table just hoping for that little bit to drop!!!

This was Gavin reaction when he found out that sometimes (only sometimes) Mom can be as fun as Dad! It was really one of the most fun times I have had! These two are so full of personality! And when they sang all the songs with the movie! It made my heart melt! They are such CUTE little boys!!!

Skyler and Griffin took a trip up to Aunt Sue and Uncle Edward's cabin after the pinewood derby. They went up there to help Uncle Edward build a retaining wall and fix a pipe. I guess there was some fishing involved too! They caught 3, just enough for each of them to have one! And as you can see in the picture the view at the lake is AMAZING! Skyler and the boys LOVE going up there, they always have a great time! And Uncle Edward, if you read this, your bobble buddy says HI!!!

Pinewood Derby!!!!!!!

So we got to enjoy our first Pinewood Derby on Saturday!! It was one of the cutest things I have ever watched! Griffin and Skyler built a truck together, and they had so much fun, they would spend all this time outside getting the thing just right for Saturday! He won the award for Best in Show! He was so fun to watch! When it was his buddy Fine's turn to go Griffin started chanting Fine's name to show his support!! It was all just too cute! Good job Griffin, you did Great!!!!

So I know it has been FOREVER since my last post! And the sad thing is I haven't really been that busy! Just other things to do! Now here I am posting because I have something fun to post about. Yesturday was Griffin's first day of school, he is in the 3rd grade now! He is growing up so fast and turning in to such an amazing little boy! I don't think I could be more proud of him. He was a little nervous to start school this year because of all the trouble we had last year. But then something must have changed because he was sooo excited to go and was even up and ready to go by 7:15. School starts for him at 8:00. The first 2 days have been awesome for him and I hope that they will stay that way the whole year. Here are some pics of my little stud muffin!

Ok so this is from a little while ago but like I said before, I am just learning how to post pictures! Griffin has been working really hard on earning his scout awards and I think it only took like 20 minutes to pass off everything he needed to get his bobcat award! But he was so dang excited when he finished! I am so proud of the little man he is becoming! At his pack meeting, they told hgim that he had to get on his hands and knees and eat a bobcat brain! I think it was like red jello with a little frosting on it but I am not totally sure! Anyway, he did it! And he was so excited to do it! The kid loves when all eyes are on him! So with everybody watching he hammed it up!! Very cute!!! We are so proud of you Griffin and we love you tons boy!!!!

Should we really buy a trailer?? Help us decide!

Ok, so it has been a while since my last posting. We went camping a couple of weeks ago and it was quite the trip! It seemed like anything that could go wrong, did! We got to our campsite and things went pretty well until the night came and we went to bed. We woke up to the carbon monoxide detector going off! We finally got it to stop after about 20-30 minutes of messing with it. The next morning it went off again, and we figured out that we had the generators turned the wrong way and the exhaust from them was coming right into the trailer. So we got that problem fixed. Well the next day, it was a little warm outside and I forgot to bring sunscreen for the boys and Gaige got so sunburned on his face that his eyes were almost swollen shut! Then on the last day we were there, I borrowed some sunscreen and was putting it on Gaige when I thought I saw a booger on his cheeck. I wiped it off and then realized that it was a blister from the sunburn. So he had this nasty looking scab on his face for a while. We got everything packed up and ready to go, we were driving off and my uncles dog went right under the trailer, we hit him a little. He is fine, it just rolled him around a bit but he is alive and ok!! We FINALLY got home from this awesomee experience, only to find that somewhere along the way we lost the keys to the trailer, so we had to call a locksmith to come open it and make us new keys! The best part, the carbon monoxide detector was going off AGAIN!!! So, needless to say, it was quite the camping trip and definitely one for the books!!!

Hey all!!! I hope you had a good weekend! We had an awesome weekend!! And I get to start the week out with some great news!!! My little Gaige who is only 22 months old is starting to potty train!!! He went to Skyler yesturday and told him that he needed to go pee so Sky put him by hte toilet and he went!!! Then this morning he told me again that he needed to go and I put him on the toilet and he went again!!! I am soooo excited about this! I am sad that my baby is growing up but I am happy because I wont have to buy diapers anymore!!! He is such a cute little kid!!! Anyway I just thought I would share that exciting news with all of you! I hope you all are well!

Walking gives me a fever

Last night we were getting ready to go over to our neighbors house, well Gavin said he wanted to ride his scooter over there and I told him that he could just walk cause it is right next door! He then looked at me and with the cutest look on his face told me that he couldn't walk because walking gives him a fever!!!! He is so dang funny!
Last night as well, when I finished typing my blog I turned around to get up and my sweet little Gaige, he got into the toothpaste and smeared it all over the carpet and all over his head!! It was quite the mess to clean! I will put up the pics I took of the mess as soon as I figure out how to do it! These boys, I am telling ya!!! Gotta love them!!!

Ok, so a lot of the people out here have blogs, and I was a little on the fence about it. Then I thought I would just look into starting one, and I saw that you can invite people instead of having it open to everyone! Now I feel a lot better about posting the pics of the kids and Sky and I. I think this is also a good way for us to all stay up to date on whats going on.
